I planned the celebration a day early–had to be out of state by Friday afternoon. The “OLLI-Pops” worked with me to present a program of “top hits,” 1900 – 1925. I bought an el-cheapo birthday crown, which seemed to please her. She and all the residents seemed to enjoy our singing. I fixed lunch for everyone (35+), she opened cards and a few small gifts before we cut her birthday cake.
Here are a few photos, more to come later. Al took a lot of stills and some videos, which we hope to put together on DVD’s for family for Christmas.
